Our 75th annual turkey dinner is nearly upon us. In the past our dinners have been such a success due to the volunteers. With your help, we can continue this tradition in it’s 75th year! Even if you don’t think you have the ability, rest assured there’s an opportunity for everyone to help. Whether it’s for 1 hour or more, all help is appreciated.
If you can help in any way please complete the form at the bottom of this post.
Here are some opportunities where you can get involved:
Monday, Nov. 22; 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm Preparing the church such as setting up tables, moving furniture, wash pots & pails & coolers and general cleaning!
We will also need to borrow large coolers, which are to be brought to the church by Monday at 6:30 pm.
Tuesday, Nov. 23; 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm Stuffing envelopes with promotional materials
Wed. Nov. 24; 8:30 am – 2:00 pm Peeling and preparing potatoes and squash (bring your own paring knife), finish setting up and prepare a light lunch for volunteers
Thurs. Nov. 25; 8:30 am – 9:00 pm Setting up traffic flow, preparing and packaging take-out meals. This is the day we need the most help. We also could use some help later in the day to help with clean-up after the dinners are all sent out.
Friday, Nov. 26; 9:00 am – 11:30 am Final cleanup
