We are excited to again participate in the Samaritan’s Purse “Operation Christmas Child” in which we collect shoe boxes filled with gifts for children in third world countries whom would otherwise receive nothing, given in Jesus’ name. You can contribute in the following ways:
- Fill a box(es) with gifts and drop it off at the church. Suggestions for gifts can be found here, https://www.samaritanspurse.ca/pack-a-shoebox/
- If you do not wish to fill a box, you can drop off items, as much or as little as you like, at the church
- Pack a box online at a cost of $40. It is very simple to do, just click on this link, https://packabox.samaritanspurse.ca/
The following are times that you can pick up a box, or drop off items or completed boxes, at the Church – just drive up and Linda or Rick will help you:
Tuesdays, Oct. 27, Nov. 3 and 10 from noon to 1:00 pm
Saturdays, Oct. 31, Nov. 7 and 14, from 10:30 to noon
Any Sunday morning up to and including Nov. 15
Children need to know they’re not forgotten. You can provide children around the world with a tangible expression of God’s love through this ministry!
